Synopsis

Eight-year-old Jack and his younger sister Annie find a magic tree house, which whisks them back to an ancient time zone where they see live dinosaurs.

Comments

 This is a hugely popular series.  This first book is a very good place for new chapter book readers to start.  Also, good to read aloud as the content is interesting and appropriate for young kids.  It blends a fictional story with some facts interspersed throughout-very clever.  A good book for precocious readers.
