Comments

First book in a series with a lot (and I do mean a lot!) of books in it. This is a nice beginning chapter book and likely appropriate for the youngest of readers.

Violence/Disturbing

Poem in the front of the book has someone who ‘conjures up’ a fairy storm and ‘curses’ every part of Fairyland.

Social/Family

The girls asked their parents if they could go on a walk and then ended up going to Fairyland. No time passes while the girls are in Fairyland. (Just in case your little fairy tries to use that as an excuse. :)

Religion/Spiritual

Fairy’s do magic, including  casting spells, curses, and using magic wands.  At a very, very mild level.

My six year old daughter loves loves loves these books. She checks a new one out every week from the library.

My daughter is 8 and loves them as well. The reading levels of the book range from 2-5 ATOS, which makes it nice and they don’t need to be read chronologically.
